“In my work I use a realistic visual approach to my figurative paintings, which are mostly portraits. My motivation usually comes spontaneously, sometimes a single moment is enough, when everything in that moment collides perfectly together. Sometimes it is by the accumulation of more subtle stimuli, and then my idea grows, like a plant, in my head. I experience the process in my work as a form of meditation, an action that is both intellectual and spiritual.”
