EMILIE ALONE

“I’ve been drawing since childhood… on pieces of paper with everything that flows under my hand. My work is about my feelings, sensations, desires and some contradictions. It’s like an oniric way of being. I’m inspired sometimes by texts or common expressions, but most of all by my own impressions, whether from inside or outside. I work with a color ball pen on paper, because this simple tool relieves me of my anguishes about the ‘blank page’, because I like its ‘retro’ side and because its possibilities are astonishing.”
