ARTIST INFO
“My artistic vision, tools, and materials stem from the medieval religious tradition of making egg-tempera paintings on wood panels. While my work has nothing to do with organized religion, I use materials such as wood, skin glue, emulsion, pigments, and gold leaf to create egg-tempera paintings highlighting contemporary socio-political issues. Resonating with images from online news and consumer culture, my work consists of narratives that define our society.”
